Students using our transportation service will be dropped off at Hofstra University by approximately 9:30 a.m. where they'll meet up with their morning group to start the day.
At the end of the day, they'll begin preparing for dismissal at 3:15 p.m., with buses departing campus around 4 p.m.
If you're dropping off and picking up at Hofstra, the Attendance Office is located in the David S. Mack Physical Education Center on Hofstra's North Campus.
Plan to have them on campus between 8-8:45 a.m. each morning.
New for 2026: all campers must be signed out using their personalized code from Daily Connect.
If you are picking your child up midway through the day, they can be picked up at 11:30 a.m. at the Physical Education Building.
End-of-day pick up is around 3:45 p.m. -- please note that we cannot dismiss anyone between 3 - 3:45 p.m. as campers are moving around campus during that time.
Campers who are of driving age and choose to drive themselves to camp must park their vehicles in the designated parent parking lots upon arrival. Vehicles must remain parked for the entire camp day and may not be used during camp hours. Please note that camper drivers are not permitted to leave campus for lunch, nor may they use their personal vehicles in place of scheduled camp bus transportation throughout the day. All campers are expected to follow the camp's transportation procedures and remain on campus unless otherwise authorized. We kindly ask that parents/guardians notify our office at camps@hofstra.edu in advance if their camper will be driving themselves to camp. This notification will allow us to authorize the camper to sign themselves in and out of camp each day during their stay with us.
