If you opted to use our transportation service, your camper's bus information will be sent prior to the start of each week.
Transportation is provided through WeTransport and may include door-to-door service or a designated area pickup location.
Families will receive their camper's bus information by email (and a letter from the driver, where applicable) up to the weekend before the camp week begins, including:
Bus number (also known as their bus tag)
Approximate pickup time
Approximate drop-off time
Families using an area pickup will receive a call from our Transportation Office with:
Bus number
Approximate pickup time
The first day of each session often takes a little longer as drivers navigate new routes and meet new campers.
We appreciate your patience during the first morning and afternoon of transportation service.
Bus routes and bus numbers may change from week to week. Please make sure your camper knows their bus number each week to help with a smooth dismissal!
Most campers are picked up between 7:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
Some routes may begin earlier depending on distance and traffic conditions.
Upon arrival to campus:
Staff members greet each bus and take attendance
Campers are escorted into the gym to meet up with their morning group
Buses generally depart campus between 4 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
To ensure a safe ride for everyone, please review the following with your camper:
Remain seated and wear your seatbelt at all times
Follow directions from the driver and the camp staff
Use appropriate language and behavior
Keep hands, feet, arms, and belongings inside the vehicle
Arrive at your stop a few minutes before the scheduled pickup time
Use caution when entering and exiting the vehicle
Campers who do not follow the transportation expectations may lose their bus privileges.
