HHT House Reopenings
The following house sites have reopened their museum spaces and/or surrounding exterior sites. Before visiting, please make sure to check individual house museum websites for updated hours, advanced ticketing, safety precautions, and other COVID-19 related restrictions.
Open for In-Person Tours
Alice Austen House, Staten Island
Starting in March 2021, ticketed tours to the house are open to the public. Tours must be pre-booked via their online scheduling platform.
Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, The Bronx
The mansion and carriage house will be open from noon until 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The museum will limit the amount of people allowed in the mansion at any given time during these open hours, and will not accept group reservations of ten or more people.
Bowne House, Queens
All visits for groups up to 7 people must be scheduled by advance appointment through the office at office@bownehouse.org.
Dyckman Farmhouse, Manhattan
Open Thursdays and Fridays by reservation only. Timed-entry ticket reservations purchased in advance are required.
Historic Richmond Town, Staten Island
Limited capacity guided tours available by appointment on Saturdays and Sundays from noon-3 pm. Reservations required.
King Manor Museum, Queens
Museum tours available during limited times. Reservations required.
Kingsland Homestead, Queens
Limited capacity tours available with timed tickets on Tuesdays from 2-4 pm. Reservations required.
Merchant's House Museum, Manhattan
Self-led museum tours available for groups of 6 or fewer by appointment. Limited walk-ins are permitted based on capacity.
Morris-Jumel Mansion, Manhattan
Museum tours are available by reservation. Walk-ins admitted if the house capacity allows. Limited to 15 people in the museum at once.
Old Stone House, Brooklyn
Open by appointment, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Noon-3 pm.
Van Cortlandt House Museum, The Bronx
Self-guided house tours are available by advance reservations with limited time slots. Reservations required.
