The vision of Hallettsville Junior High counseling department is that all students feel welcome, safe, and supported. Students will achieve academic success, social emotional growth, and be prepared to function in a community showing empathy, compassion and respect for all.

The counseling department at Hallettsville Junior High School will provide a comprehensive program guiding student to become effective communicators and creating socially and emotionally balanced individuals. Through parental and community involvement, students will be enabled to further their career goals and build a set of transferable skills producing compassionate, global citizens.
