This online course is designed for 4-H and FFA members participating in livestock projects. The curriculum is divided up into different age groups to provide each learner with appropriate, hands-on material.
The primary objectives of the Quality Counts Program are to enable elementary through high school-age students to understand the relationship between good character and safe food practices and to apply knowledge regarding the ethical implications of livestock raising decisions.
Note: It may take up to 1 hour to receive your Quality Counts number after completion of this course.
Use the link below to begin the Quality Counts Certification course. Once competed you will receive a number that certifies completion that will be used on Major Show entry forms. Students must be verified once as a junior (grades 3-5), once as an intermediate (grades 6-8), and once as a senior (grades 9-12). If your Student moved up a group, they will need to be recertified.
