These resources may be helpful to school groups developing and seeking funding for their environmental education projects. Please note that although the website says funds are available for K-12 public schools they are also open to Preschools and Early Childcare Centers.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program providing Hawaiʻi residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. Participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk.
SNAP is a federal program administered through the US Department of Agriculture. It provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiancy. Learn more about it here.
