Canvas Parent/Guardian Observer Accounts

Parents/guardians can access Canvas in one of two ways: Canvas Parent Mobile App or the Canvas Website

As an "observer", you will see each Canvas course your child is enrolled in - no need to add multiple codes/join multiple classes!

Here is a brief comparison of the Canvas Parent Mobile App and the Canvas Website:

Canvas Parent App

High-level overview of a student's Canvas activity
Shows assignments, calendar events, assignments, grades
Set alerts for specific activity (late work, grades, etc.)

Canvas Website

Mirrors what students see in Canvas
Provides better visibility of certain Canvas content, like Pages/embedded course calendars
