At Hillview, we are delighted to offer two different choral groups:
Senior Choir (Year 5-8), directed by one of our Music teachers, George Hart
Special Choir (Year 9-10)
The Outreach Band Programme is organised and run by the Christchurch School of Music. For more information about this, please contact Jody at outreachband@csm.org.nz
Students in Year 7-10 have the opportunity to be involved with our Worship Performance Band. This is run by one of our itinerant teachers, Jayden Watkinson, on Wednesday mornings.
Students in 5-6 are able to participate in our Junior Performance Band. This is also run by Jayden Watkinson; practices are during Wednesday lunchtime.
Every year, students in Years 5-8 have the option of participating in the Christchurch Schools' Music Festival.
