The Hillside High School Media Center performs as an intrinsic component of the Hillside High School community in collaboration with administrators, teachers, and students, as enhancement to the curriculum through the variety of resources provided by the media center are encouraged. A major focus of the Hillside High School Educational Media Center/Library is information literacy which encompasses the full range of abilities that students must acquire to enable effective interaction with information and the construction of meaningful knowledge in an ever-changing global economy.
Hillside High School students will take the initiative to become respectful citizens, creative problem solvers and inspirational leaders who will be equipped with the skills to compete in an ever-changing global economy.
In partnership with the greater Hillside community, Hillside High School will support the development of active thinkers/leaders and celebrate student achievement and accomplishment. Promoting a positive school culture, Hillside High School will encourage citizenship through innovative teaching and learning in a global economy.
