A Message from Mrs. Sheila-Allen Williams:

Welcome to the Hillside High School Media Center Homepage. The purpose of this site is to improve access to our online databases, guide students in the research and learning processes, provide planning resources to teachers, and assist our school community in locating relevant educational or “of interest” information.

The Hillside High School Media Center performs as an intrinsic component of the Hillside High School community in collaboration with administrators, teachers, and students, as enhancement to the curriculum through the variety of resources provided by the media center are encouraged. A major focus of the Hillside High School Educational Media Center/Library is information literacy, which encompasses the full range of abilities that students must acquire to enable effective interaction with information and the construction of meaningful knowledge in an ever-changing global economy.

This site will be continuously updated to provide students and faculty with the resources and information they need to enhance their learning and development. It is my sincerest hope that our school community will find this site a valuable tool and that it will encourage students to visit the Media Center in order to extend their learning beyond the classroom.

*Note- As of January 1, 2018 our old site at Teacher Web will be discontinued. This site is our new home.
