Dear Parents and Guardians,

We would like to start Star of the Week and would love for your child to participate. We will need your help and guidance to make this a special week for your child. This year we will be using a Google Slides presentation to enhance the Star of the Week experience. Attached to this email is the Google Slides presentation for you to fill out with your child.

We promise you that this is simple to complete! The Google Slides presentation is a template that allows you to type on the slides to fill in the information about your child. It is an easy click of the attachment and hit the button that says...make a copy. Please complete the presentation with your child. Feel free to add pictures into the slides as well. Once the slides are completed, please share it with your child’s teacher. We will share the presentation with your child’s class during your child's assigned week.

At the end of September, your child’s classroom teacher sent home a table with the assigned dates for Star of the Week. Please acknowledge the date of your child’s week and send the presentation back to your child’s classroom teacher the Sunday night before your child’s assigned week.

If you have any questions, challenges with the presentation, or can’t locate the Star of the Week Dates, please contact your child’s teacher.
