Dear Parent and Carers,
Once again, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our families joining us in September 2021. You should have all received an email with your child’s personalised calendar which indicates their first day and staggered start schedule. If you have not received this, please contact our office staff via email: hillprimary@hillingdonprimaryschool.org.uk
We have sent the calendars as early as possible so that you can plan and ensure your child attends all of their sessions. If you are booking holidays please take account of the published dates for the autumn term. At this point our aim is to follow the dates and timings within your child’s calendar. All students are expected to attend school.
Alongside Ms Breslin (Principal) and Ms Kelly (Head of School), we would traditionally invite you into school to meet all of us. We would show you your child’s new classroom, meet the teachers and staff and have an information session. Due to the current circumstances (COVID), this will not be possible. As an alternative to these sessions we have created a this website for our new parents. This website contains all of the information you will need, to be informed ready for September.
The website has photos of classrooms and staff introduction videos, so that you and your child can familiarise yourself before starting school. We have also given our new parents access to our Early Years website, so that during the Summer you can read with your child, play interactive games and learn some songs ready for ‘Big School’ to commence! This is optional.
If you need to contact us before September, you can call the main office up until 22nd July 09:00 - 16:00. During the Summer holidays parents should email their queries to hillprimary@hillingdonprimaryschool.org.uk. You will receive an auto-reply explaining when you can expect a response. The school office will reopen again on Monday 6th September 2021.
Thank you for continued support and patience.
Yours faithfully,
Mr B O’Shea
Assistant Headteacher for Early Years and Year One
