About Me

I grew up in the Muskogee area and graduated from Ft. Gibson High School in 2002. I studied Engineering Physics, Mathematics, and Quantitative Analysis at Northeastern State University and received my Bachelor's Degree in 2008. I received a Master's degree in Science Education Curriculum and Instruction from Southeastern State University in August 2021.

This is my second year as a teacher. Last year, I taught 5th grade Science at Watts Middle School in Watts, OK. I am certified to teach Math, Science, and Physical Science.

I have three daughters (Allison-10, Tessa-8, and Sidney-7), four guinea pigs (Harry, Ron, Sirius, and Charlie Wheakley), and one favorite human (Jeremy). In my free time, I like to play tabletop games, make chainmail, read, and bake with my sourdough starter, Arthas.
