YOU MUST HAVE A ELECTRONIC PICTURE (IN YOUR EMAIL) TO REGISTER on College Board for SAT and/or ACT.ORG for the ACT
STUDENTS APPLYING TO FOUR YEAR COLLEGE ARE ENCOURAGED TO TAKE BOTH EXAMS.
ALSO, CERTAIN SCHOOLS REQUIRE THE SAT SUBJECT EXAM. LEARN EARLY IF THE SCHOOL OR PROGRAM YOU ARE INTERESTED IN REQUIRES A SPECIAL EXAM.
STUDENTS MUST PREPARE FOR AN SAT BEFORE TAKING IT!!!!!!!! It’s the only way a student increases their score.
ALL HILLCREST STUDENTS SHOULD REGISTER FOR AN SAT Preparation Course in Sophomore or Junior Year.
HILLCREST WILL BE PARTNERING WITH SAT COMPANIES TO PROVIDE PREP THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. CHECK YOUR PUPIL PATH EMAIL REGULARLY FOR UPDATES AND REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

March SAT @ HILLCREST: March 27, 2019 (Scores Available 4/19/2019)
April ACT: April 13, 2019 Registration Deadline: 3/8/2019 Late Registration Deadline: 3/25/2019 (Scores Available 4/23/2019)
May SAT: May 4, 2019 Registration Deadline: 4/5/2019 Late Registration Deadlines: 4/16/2019 (Scores Available 5/17/2019)
June SAT: June 1, 2019 Registration Deadline: 5/3/2019 Late Registration Deadlines: 5/14/2019 (Scores Available 7/10/2019)
June ACT: June 8, 2019 Registration Deadline: 5/3/2019 Late Registration Deadline: 5/20/2019 (Scores Available 6/18/2019 – 8/2/2019)
SAT
All JUNIORS must attend school to take the exam for FREE.
All SOPHOMORES must attend school to take the PSAT exam for FREE.
ALL 10th and 11th grade students are automatically registered by the DOE.
AFTER the March SAT, qualifying students may receive: 2 SAT fee waivers and 2 ACT fee waivers
Sign up to re-take another SAT after March if you want to get into a college with higher score.
ACT
* if you register to take an ACT, you MUST register for the writing section. The writing section is REQUIRED for the ACT
Fee Waivers
IN ORDER FOR STUDENTS TO QUALIFY FOR A FEE WAIVER, YOU MUST SUBMIT A FAMILY INCOME INQUIRY FORM EVERY YEAR- WWW.MYSCHOOLAPPS.COM OR SEE MS. PRASINOS ROOM 157
If you qualify for free or reduce lunch, please visit the College Office in Room 106 to get a waiver.
