In Math class, we made an identity card using our personal information while collecting data from our classmates through a survey and comparing our own using graphs. I composed the final product of images and graphs of different personal stories and information.
In humanities class, we created a storyboard and tags. Storyboard is a box of images that tells a story. We created our storyboard using wooden boxes, images and other classmates' stories. We were each assigned to create our own interpretation of somebody's most precious memory using Legos, Photoshop and other methods. The final product ended up being a box in which each of the four sides had a different image that told a story.
In physics, we created camera obscura using cardboard boxes, paper, tape and lots of trials and errors. The goal was to create a camera that you could actually see the outside world inverted. The final product turned out to be pictures at the bay of people, buildings, trees, etc.
Our hero story project was about creating our own hero in humanities class. It could be a personal hero, a Greek hero, an American hero or any hero that you could create using your imagination. We used Photoshop to create our hero. The final product was our personal hero and his origin story.
The pinhole camera project was a physics project intending to create a camera using a can.
Our Desmos self portrait assignment was about creating a Portrait of ourselves using a website called Desmos that outlines images using equations. The final product is a self portrait of us with over 60 questions.
The Desmos self portrait annotations assignment was where we took screen shots of our Desmos self portrait and calculated equations from our self portrait. The final product into being a document with images of our self in our final annotations.
The Dear Math letter assignment was to write a letter to math.. The project was about writing a letter to math as if math was a person. The Final product ended up being a letter to math expressing my feelings and experiences towards it. I was bold and honest.
Calendars
In class last semester, they signed us to create calendars. Our calendars were like daily journals. We could be creative, using images, words, or anyway we expressed ourselves and how we felt or did that day. I chose images of food to represent what I ate or wished to eat that day. Each month, we would have a different prompt.
