After lots of research, we created a poster compiling everything we learned about the history. We used our research and each wrote paragraphs about what we learned. Down Below you will learn the process of creating it.
To prepare for our poster, we organized all of the research into slides, editing our writing and completing final paragraphs to put onto the posters.
Our research document consisted of each of us having our own section we needed to find information on. The sections included infrastructure, residential, business, and community resources.
To start off the year in math we created posters based on our personality types. We took a test to determine the personality type, and then researched the highlights and low-lights of the type we were given. We also looked at the workplace habits the type had.
For our final math project, we worked in groups to create a poster focusing on mindsets people generally have. Our group chose fixed and growth mindsets. We gave examples, took data from a survey we put out and created frequency tables. We also worked on probability. We also included a QR code to the frequency table.
For chemistry, we worked on live chemical reactions. Our group chose to make an aluminum flame and put hydrochloride acid with aluminum. We practiced the demo multiple times before presenting it to an audience at exhibition.
For the project, we had a few trials that we did beforehand and this one was the most successful it was trial 3. The flame lasted for more than 30 seconds and was able to be lit multiple times
Above is the slides our group made to present. It includes, the instructions, stoichiometry equations, materials, and the element info.
