In this project our English teacher gave us a prompt and we created multiple pomes talking about our different experiences. We looked at different poets and musicians as work as models to make each poem we wrote stronger than the last. For our final poem we chose or created a poem to read at our exhibition.
This project was to help us explore our relationship with music and create a timeline of some of the songs we listen to know and the songs we listened to what we were younger that followed our criteria. Here it is,
1. One song must be music your family listened to/sung to you the year you were born (no matter when song came out
2. One song must be from age 3-5
3. One song must be from age 6-10
4. One song must be from age 11-ninth grade
5. One song must be from this year
6-10 songs total
In this semester we were required to read for 20 minutes a day and once a week we would submit a good reads update sayin what page in our book we were at and a paragraph explaining what we read that week. By the end of the semester we did this project where we picked 3 books we read over the semester and put the covers on our first slide. On the second slide we chose a book that we read, when then chose a quote and gave a short explanation on the book. On the third and last slide we talk about our reading goal for next school year/Semester.
In this assignment we chose a song that focuses on change whether it was internal, social, or cultural to analyzed. We then had to identify 3 different figurative languages in our chose song to write about. We then made the figurative languages into topics for 3 paragraphs.
El Folleto meaning Travel Brochure was and assignment we did where we chose a Spanish speaking country and researched about it to create a travel Brochure.
Soy yo poema or I am is a poem we created in Spanish that focuses on us, it was used to tell people about ourselves. The first step we took for this project was to fill out a packet Profe gave us that asked us questions about ourselves. Next, we had to create a draft of how we wanted our poem to look like based on the packet. Lastly, we had to make a canva doc with our poem layout with photos and our friends.
The mini step project was a way for us to show our parents about what we learned in quadratics
