In this project the teachers are helping us pick multiple paths or doorways of what we might want to do when we graduate. They are helping us try and set up for the future they know we can all have.

This semester we have been practicing our poem and writing skills by analyzing music and poetry. Then as we started our English and Spanish projects we wrote poems about lots of topics and used other poets, poems as a model and examples. We wrote poems every day to strengthen our writing skills, and eventually, we had one of our poems to get a critic then revise so that it could be put in the magazine.

In this project we studied the history and foundation of our chosen neighborhood (North Park). We interviewed a business (Ranchos Cocina) in North Park and seeing the effects of inflation and new business coming in and out. We then reached out to interview them and ask them questions we created.  

This semester we have been doing a project called Epic Journey.  Epic Journey was focusing on art and how it tells the journeys people have been on.

Last semester we were doing a project called Double Exposure. Double Exposure was focusing on the power of pictures and how they tell a story. We try and find the meaning behind every picture.
