In math, we had to make an identity card about our life. We made charts and graphs to explain our life. In my graphs, I talked about my learning styles, pets I have, countries I've been to, and number of instruments I play. We had to figure out whether we were the mean, median, or mode of each graph in our class.
For my story box, Blue told me about her favorite day of the week, which was when she went rock climbing. We had to make part of the story out of whatever we could find, and then put it on each side of the box. To make the box, we had to cut five pieces of wood and glue the whole box together. After that, we put a plant inside ot make it look nice.
For this project, we all had to learn how to photoshop. We had to make a hero that could be our hero, a Greek hero, or societies hero. After making the image of the hero, we had to make a story about it. I wrote my story about a Greek hero.
This was definitely one of the hardest projects we've done. In our groups, we all had to create a graphic novel. We had to take a ton of photos, photoshop them, and then make them into a story. There were so many errors that we always had to go back and fix, but in the end our story turned out great. The picture on the right is one of the pages that I photoshopped for our story.
For this project, we had to get a box and cut a little hole in it, then put a piece of white paper on the opposite side. When we put our heads in the box, we could see an upside down image of outside.
Making this Pinhole camera was really fun. We put film inside of the can and took the take off of the hole for a few seconds. Then the next day, we got to see what our picture looked like after it got developed.
This self portrait took a lot of time. Every day in math class, we had to work on this for about two month. We had to take a picture of ourselves and then use mathematical equations to outline ourselves.
