What is going well with your project?
My project is going well because of the flexibility I have due to timing and the people who are there to help build the da Vinci section. About twenty people came from Italy to help build this section, and this gives me a reliable source of information because of the research that they had done prior to the construction of the section. Also, working there, I get to film the progress that they make alongside filming an ad.
What challenges are you facing?
There are challenges that I am facing making these videos but they are not as vast as what's going well. I was using an editing app on my phone called cap cut that had all of the videos that were mostly finished And the app was taken down. So now I'm about 4-5 days back and will have to re-film a lot of what I had. And I would just put the same videos back if I had storage on my phone to keep them but I had to take videos then delete them because of that. I also got sick on the second to last day of the internship and I was still recording audio for the final video so I sounded diffrent and I lost the microphone in the same day. But I overcame these challenges by just recording on my phone.
Who is your mentor? Describe his or her life, education, career path and more.
My mentor's name is Melissa Culbertson she was born and raised in Virginia and went to Virginia State University. She has a husband but I'm not sure how long they have been married and two kids that are both under two years old. She worked as a waitress and eventually quit and started to work at a banquet. At this job, she would be around a bunch of money and get pink eye all the time. But she did like working there because of her co-workers. She eventually moved on to be a library assistant and was promoted to librarian at the Air and Space Museum.
On Thursday I had a stomach bug but I was working on my blog, photo essay, and final project for three hours that day.
