Student is able to verbalize why a butterfly is patient. Literacy connection: shows understanding of the read aloud and activity . Student is able to correctly label the life cycle of a butterfly. Science connection: life cycles. Student is able to add color, lines and shapes to the butterfly life cycle. This demonstrate fine motor skills and the transfer of scientific drawings. Literacy and science content standards are being met through this activity.
