Semester-2
For our second semester, we were asked, "How are journeys essential to our growth?" and "How can we share the stories of our life journeys and the value we derive from them?". Instead of just doing research on the web, we went on "journeys" to find and prove the answers ourselves. We embarked on lots of journeys (field-trips) and did our own field-research, while incorporating math, physics, and humanities. This Semester, we were asked, "Who really decides what we eat?" and "What food systems/big food companies make modern ultra-processed food possible?" We researched and exposed these corporations and their "less than human" practices to create the food we eat today. While researching and answering these questions, we incorporated Physics, Math, and Humanities. We uncovered that people are eating things in their food that they thought might be illegal.
