In class, we will discuss how business topics, such as insurance, marketing and sustainability relate to the world around us. Everybody will have the chance to share their own ideas and experiences as consumers, entrepreneurs and policy-makers. Throughout the three years of the course, you are encouraged to give your own opinions, work closely with your classmates and develop your business skills.
We will use your textbook and workbook to support your learning in class and at home. They both provide a chance for you to practise your written explanations as well as practical skills, such as bookkeeping and calculations.
We will also use several digital tools to support your learning and develop business skills, such as creating household budgets, infographics and advertising. We have outlined the four key tools below that will be used to support your learning in Business Studies.
This website is divided into four sections - Course Overview, Assessment, Resources and Case Studies. We will go through each section in class, but you are free to explore these sections as often as you wish.
