We realise how disappointing it has been to learn about Food Technology without being able to make any of the food.
In class we studied Food and Nutrition, understood how and why we need food for energy, and watched some amazing videos on breakfasts around the world and pizza mass-production.
We have also looked at how to stay safe and hygienic in the kitchen.
However, as we haven't been able to make any of those delicious dishes, we thought we'd create some recipes which you'd be able to make at home.
It is essential that you get permission from parents or carers before you begin any of these recipes at home. Make sure that they know exactly what you are doing and what you will need; it might be a good idea to create the dishes together!
As well as following the Health & Safety Rules on the right here, you must follow good hygiene practices.

Wash hands
Remove jewellery
Keep your work area clean
Do not cook if you are feeling ill
Use hot, soapy water for washing-up
