Depart Stansted Airport 06:25, flight no. FR3556. Arrive in Marrakech 10:05. 

Team 2 will be met by their in-country representative and be transferred by private bus to the hotel. This afternoon, students will take a walk into the markets and will stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2 Thursday 18th July: 

FROM: Marrakech TO: Oukaimeden 

After breakfast, students can take an optional guided walking city tour. This afternoon, there is an optional visit to the Water Museum. Students will be staying overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3 Friday 19th July

FROM: Marrakech TO: Tamguiste 

After breakfast, Team 2 will drive south of Marrakesh to the Imnanen valley. In the afternoon, they will meet the village community and visit the project sites to learn about what they will be doing whilst here. They will be staying overnight in a village house.

Team 2 have arrived at the village of Tamguiste for the community project.

DAY 8 Wednesday 24th July

FROM: Tamguiste TO: Matate 

Team 2 will be meeting the trekking crew and will start the day with a downhill section of track along the Imnanen valley to Ikkis. They will be gradually climbing up the pass of Tizi n Aguersioual then down to the picnic spot near the stream. In the afternoon, they will be trekking along a dirt track to Matate. They will be staying overnight in a village house.

Day 9 Thursday 25th July

FROM: Matate TO: Azib Tamsoulte 

The morning starts with a short climb up to Tizi Oudite then trek down to Tizi Oussem in the lush Azaden valley. Team 2 will continue on a gradual uphill climb up to the pasture village of Azib Tamsoulte. They will be staying overnight at a camp.

DAY 10 Friday 26th July

Azib Tamsoulte 

Today Team 2 will have a more leisurely day to rest and visit the Ighouliden waterfalls. The team will be staying at an overnight camp.

DAY 11 Saturday 27th July

FROM: Azib Tamsoulte TO: Aroumd 

Team 2 trek over Tizi Mzik (2489m) pass then down to Aroumd. Alternatively, team members can opt to hike up Tizi n Tzikerte (2900m) then long descent to Aroumd. Team 2 will stay overnight in a village house.

DAY 12 Sunday 28th July

FROM: Aroumd  TO: Essaouira 

This morning team 2 will be doing a short hike down the valley to Imlil to meet their transport that will drive them to Essaouira. Team members will have the afternoon to explore this coastal city. They will stay overnight at a hotel.

DAY 13 Monday 29th July

Essaouira

Team 2 have a free day to explore Essaouira. They will stay overnight at a hotel.

DAY 14 Tuesday 30th July

FROM: Essaouira TO: Marrakesh

After breakfast, Team 2 will transfer back to Marrakesh. After an early dinner, they will head to the airport ready for their flight home. 

Depart Marrakesh Airport 20:15, flight no. FR7869. Arrive in Stansted 23:50.
