Good evening,
We have made it through the airport and we are on the coach heading home a bit later than expected as we had to wait for some luggage and were told the wrong spot for the coaches!
We are now on our way and our ETA at Highlands is 10pm
The coaches will enter through the bottom gate. Please can we ask that you park up and stand by your cars and do not make your way onto the concourse to meet your child as we will need to get everyone’s luggage and return passports, EHICs and medication.
Once students have their belongings, we will send them to you and you will be able to make your way out the top gate.
We understand that you are keen to see your child but we hope that by allowing us to sign them out first, this process will be much quicker for everyone involved.
See you soon.

Good evening,
Lots of students came all the way down from the top of the mountain today, with some of our beginner groups attempting their first red slopes with great success.
All students have now had the opportunity to head into town to have a look in the shops to buy some souvenirs and snacks and are eagerly awaiting our awards night tonight.
We will keep you posted on a more exact arrival time at Highlands tomorrow but we are hoping to see you all at approximately 9:30pm.
Just a quick note from me to say how absolutely fantastic all of the students have been this week and they really are a credit to yourselves and Highlands School.

Good afternoon,
It was a great day on the slopes today with most groups getting the second chair to the top of the mountain to ski down. We're very proud of the progress that all students have made over the last 5 days.
The weather today has been beautiful after the snow storm yesterday. We have been very fortunate with the weather so far, and the forecast is looking great again for tomorrow.
Our evening activity is ice skating, and we will be sure to take more photos and videos of that tonight before our final day of lessons tomorrow.

Good evening,
We have had a very snowy day here in Pra Loup with some of the lifts closed for most of the morning due to the heavy snowfall overnight.
Most groups stayed low on the mountain today and worked on their turns, the advanced group found the deep snow at the top of the mountain for a few runs, and the intermediate groups tried out a new blue run.
We have Mr McInerney's quiz tonight, so keep your eyes peeled for the victorious team pictures!

Good morning,
Apologies for the delay in updating you but yesterday was a very busy day!
All of the beginner groups made it to the midway point of the mountain to tackle some of the green runs up there with the intermediate groups skiing down the forest tracks from the top to the bottom of the mountain. The advanced group found an empty slope and created their own slalom course which they raced in the afternoon session.
We finished the evening with bowling and a walk back to the hotel in the snow and woke up this morning to lots of fresh snow. I have included a picture below!
I'll update the photos and videos from yesterday throughout the morning.

Everyone has gone from strength to strength today with all groups making great progress and skiing new runs. The lack of mobile phones has been refreshing and it's been so positive to see students engaging and playing games with each other in their down time.
Movie night has just started (we're watching Zootropolis) and we're looking forward to a good night's sleep in preparation for another day of skiing tomorrow.

We have had a fantastic first day skiing.
Our beginner groups have been on the green slopes learning to stop and turn. One of the groups made their way onto some small jumps today!
Our intermediate group have been working on their parallel turns a bit higher up the mountain.
Our advanced group have been put through their paces today with some work on skiing backwards and a little bit of off piste work.
We have our games night tonight and will share some more photos and videos a little bit later on.

We have taken lots of photos of our journey so far and will update the Day 1 page a little bit later on.
