All assignments are due on or before the day specified. Late papers will not receive full credit. It is your responsibility to determine what work you have missed and do it. Tests and quizzes may be required to be made up as soon as a student returns from an excused absence (check student handbook). Assignments will be posted on our Google classroom via an assignment checklist, and on the board. You can access my web page through http://www.highlandschools.org/ follow the teachers tab to high school teachers.
If you are absent or cannot complete a lab (excused absences only) you will need to make-up the lab in ALL, or a make-up written assignment may be posted on Google Classroom.
Keeping track of assignments, grades, and an organized notebook and folder are your responsibility.
Class Materials: You are expected to bring needed materials with you to class, this may include your textbook, writing utensils, and paper. You will also need a pocket folder with your name on it, which might remain in class. Lab days you need to bring your school issued goggles and be dressed properly for lab work.
MY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist you in your learning experience.
Evaluate your progress and post your grades.
Provide a secure learning environment.
Music will be playing in the classroom periodically (no words on lecture days), however on some flex days you will determine the music to be played. Two rules have to be followed: 1) The class has to agree on the music-by voting, and 2) I have to approve of the music.
