Throughout every year The Parent Council is actively fundraising. This helps to support some of our objectives, including:
To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils.
To raise funds, apply for and receive grants, and accept gifts for the benefit of the school.
Examples of how we have recently raised funds include:
Hosting The Poolewe Ceilidh
Various raffles and hampers
All donations from individuals and businesses are gratefully received. Some ideas of how you can help include:
Raising sponsorship for the Parent Council while participating in an event (for example a sponsored run.)
Making use of the “Rag Bag” which is located the school car park. This is a recycling bin for clothes and shoes. By simply using it to depose of your unwanted clothes and shoes you will be raising funds for us.
Downloading and use the Easyfundraising App when making purchases online. The Parent Council will receive a small percentage of your online purchases at absolutely no cost to you. More details can be found here - https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk
Donations of gifts to various hampers and raffles. This can include items such as chocolates and alcohol, as well as gift vouchers from businesses.
Direct payments can be made to the Parent Council Bank Account at any time. This may be the funds you have raised from an event or simply a direct personal or business donation.
