The mother bats were blindfolded and knew their baby's sound and smell (babies had a cottonball with vanilla, vinegar, lemon, rootbear, or butter flavoring on it)

WIth all the babies making noise, the mother bat had to find her baby. A real mother bat can find her baby in a cave of thousands!

that's why they're flying out there!
Students made informational posters about why bats are good for our environment and why we should be kind to bats.
