Texas History

About Texas History

7th Grade Texas History is a comprehensive history of Texas.  We will cover topics beginning with Texas Geography continuing to 1519 and early exploration and colonization through the contemporary period.

We will use recorded readings to add some folk history to the class.

Students will also be given assignments to explore Texas History on their own, with their choice of videos, articles, or individual research on topics to expand their knowledge.
