Big Peach Car Wash
Operationally, Big Peach utilizes the industry's most advanced car wash technology and equipment. Sonny’s Car Wash Factory is recognized as the number one provider in the US for equipment, marketing, sales, and customer support. Car Wash Services of the Southeast provides software that controls conveyors, water management, and chemical distribution.
With seven locations and counting in Georgia, new locations are planned for North Carolina and Tennessee. In May 2023, the group announced the Macon, Georgia, Big Peach Car Wash opening and the first Big Peach Express Oil Change. The Big Peach brand continues to scale and diversify.
Big Peach Car Wash is the brainchild of business partners Wes Cone and Todd Rivers, who have successfully built and operated self-storage facilities throughout Georgia. With backgrounds in finance and real estate development and an eye on the industry's projected growth, car washes are a natural extension for the partners. Along with asphalt and paving company owners Jeffrey and Jonathan Shepard, the group secured $2.4 MM in financing and invested another $600,000 to launch Big Peach Car Wash.
The company’s flagship location in Forsyth, Georgia, opened in July 2021. As the city’s first and only express car wash, Big Peach announced its entry into the industry as a state-of-the-art “full-service car wash with a small-town community feel.” With only three months of operations, the company more than lived up to its commitment to the community with free car washes for law enforcement and employee appreciation events.
Kodiak Net Lease Development
Sharon Thurner and Mike Conard each have nearly 30 years of experience developing retail centers with nationally recognized anchor tenants and out-parcel appeal tenants, such as nationally and regionally recognized quick service restaurants and express car wash brands. The genesis of Kodiak Net Lease Development began in the fall of 2021when Mrs. Thurner, and Mr. Conard began master planning a multi-tenant retail development and decided to permanently combine their real estate development, real estate investment and capitalization, and property management talents. The company continues to focus on Single and Multi-Tenant Net Lease (STNL) developments and has developed and implemented the growth and expansion plan for the Big Peach Car Wash brand.
Kodiak Net Lease Development, along with Big Peach Car Wash, also serves as a General Partner and Sponsor for Kodiak Car Wash Fund I, which brings an additional level of investor value to the Fund. Each Big Peach Car Wash location is carefully curated to maximize revenue potential, operational efficiency, and investor returns. From site selection through completion, Kodiak Net Lease Development's expertise will ensure that Kodiak Car Wash Fund I assets meet or exceed the Fund's investment objectives.
