Instructional Coach
As an instructional coach, within my districts, I work with all stakeholders to create and improve aligned curriculum resources, as well as assist in supporting with equitable implementation of school-wide assessments and effective progress monitoring. I have the opportunity to collaborate will all stakeholders to make instructional decisions based on student performance and data. I am able to observe and review curriculum, instructional strategies, data protocols, and the list goes on in order to make recommendations on best practices for supporting curriculum alignment across all grade levels within the specified content area for all grade levels. I ground myself as a coach in emphasizing the central concepts and structures of data collection, inquiry, analysis, and evaluation (to improve teacher effectiveness and teacher capacity). I also enjoy analyzing school data to develop action plans based on strengths and gaps that are aligned with a solid, effective progress monitoring tool and I am always up for learning new areas of content, curriculum, and best practice instructional strategies.
