Homework: Homework will be given. Homework may include any subject area, but will mainly consist of math, reading, and reviewing spelling words. I will not assign regular subject homework over a weekend or school break, but your student may need to spend time reading, working on Lexia, or completing work that is past due. Students should spend 30 minutes on academic practice every school night. Homework logs should be completed and initialed by parents daily.
Absences: If your child is ill, please keep them at home. Keeping sick kids at home will limit the risk of infection to others. PLEASE call the office and arrange to pick up homework.
If you know of an upcoming absence, make arrangements ahead of time to complete assignments they will miss. It is very important that your child complete the missing work in a timely manner. It is difficult to “catch up” the next day, as we continue on to the next lessons.
