Prepare for your meeting before you come.  When you arrive, have raedy: the writing assignment description, all of your prewriting work (outlines, research etc.), and the working draft of your writing assignment.  If you do not yet have a draft, bring all materials that you can so that your meeting can be as productive as possible.
