Dual Enrollment offers high school students the opportunity to enroll in college courses and receive college credit while pursuing their high school diploma. Courses are offered in a variety of disciplines and fields including general education and career pathway courses that align with local industry. Students can take these courses at the high school (CCAP) or at the college (NON CCAP) depending on the agreement between the high school district and the college district. All course fees are waived for CCAP courses offered on SHS campus, saving money for the student, while preparing them for the rigor of college. NON CCAP courses may require a fee and textbook purchase by the student.
Students will:
have an opportunity to earn high school and college credit simultaneously
gain an early start on achieving an Associate or Baccalaureate degree
