Grade Improvement

It is important, if you're looking to improve your grade in this class, that you begin by consistently completing assignments on time.  Additionally, it is crucial to make sure that you are understanding the content of the assignments you are completing.

*Retakes are not available if Mrs. Bevan is not present

Skills Mastery Quiz

Students will complete 3 attempts of each quiz in class and the top two scores will be averaged for a grade. Students will be required to complete corrections to any quiz that did not earn 5/5.  Students will be offered one-on-one help/intervention/tutoring  after the second take  in an effort to work toward proficiency. Students will have the opportunity to continue working toward a proficient score beyond the third attempt during intervention time or office hours, IF all corrections have been completed.  

Unit Tests 

Students will complete 3 different versions of each unit test over a time frame of about 6 weeks. All three scores will be counted.  If after the third test, students wish to improve their average, a fourth test will be offered to replace the lowest of the three scores.  ALL corrections and ALL lesson practices for the unit must be completed in order to be eligible for the fourth test.
