About Us

Over the years, Hermantown Robotics has expanded to include FIRST® Lego® League, JR and FIRST®  Lego® League (FLL®) teams, FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC®) teams, and FIRST® Robotics Competition (FTC) Teams. Our program's growth has positively impacted hundreds of students and dozens of mentors who have been involved in the program.

Teams participate in educationally engaging robotics programs and design challenges provided by FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology).

Mission Statement

We try to inspire students to become involved with STEM through demonstrations. Our goals are to bring the FIRST® Lego League to new audiences; to be a role model of Gracious Professionalism®, and use our experience to mentor others.  It is not what we win that is important; it is important what we learn along the way.
