Description: Get ideas for setting up your grading systems for the next school year! This book study will be a hybrid of asynchronous modules and two live sessions, one at the beginning to introduce ourselves and establish our personal goals for the study and one at the end to share resources and ideas that will be helpful in our own classrooms.
The anchor text is Joe Feldman's book, Grading For Equity, which focuses on how grading practices that are accurate, bias-resistant, and motivational will improve learning, minimize grade inflation, reduce failure rates, and become a lever for creating stronger teacher- student relationships and more caring classrooms.

To understand the 12 Brain-Based Principles To reflect on the 12 Brain-Based Principles To learn methods to implement the 12 Brain-Based Principles This course is designed as chunked chapters in order for you to gain knowledge and deepen your understanding of the 12 Brain-Based Principles to avoid burnout, increase optimism as well as support physical well-being. Additionally, the schedule for reading takes into consideration the number of school days we have for the book study. This six-hour course offers a stipend of $150.00. Clock hours can be given if your district allows them. You will receive a copy of the book which is yours to keep.
