How much does a kitchen or bathroom renovation cost?

As a starting point: a Refinish (hardware and cabinet refinishing only, no new doors) starts around $4,000 for a kitchen and $2,000 for a bathroom. A Refresh (new cabinet doors, new finish, new hardware, and soft-close hinges, with optional upgrades like countertops, appliances, or custom built-ins) starts around $7,000 for a kitchen and $6,000 for a bathroom. A full Remodel - involving cabinet layout changes or custom cabinetry - is scoped and priced individually based on your project. We provide a detailed, itemized estimate before any work begins so you know exactly what's included.

Do I need a permit for my renovation?

Most standard updates - like paint, flooring, cabinet swaps, and countertops - typically don't require a permit, while larger changes involving electrical, plumbing, or HVAC may. We handle permitting for any work that requires it, so you don't have to navigate that process yourself.

How long does a typical renovation take?

Timelines depend on the size and complexity of the project - a refresh may take just a few days, while a full kitchen or bathroom renovation can take several weeks. We'll walk you through a realistic timeline upfront based on your specific scope, and keep you updated if anything changes along the way.

What's the difference between a refinish, a refresh, and a full remodel?

A Refinish updates your existing cabinets with new hardware and a fresh finish - no new doors or layout changes - and is our most budget-friendly option. A Refresh goes a step further with new cabinet doors, a new finish, new hardware, and soft-close hinges, plus optional upgrades like countertops, appliances, or custom built-ins - it's our standard starting package. A full Remodel goes beyond that, with cabinet layout changes or custom cabinetry and often larger structural, plumbing, or electrical work. We'll help you figure out which approach fits your goals and budget.

How do I know I can trust the crew working in my home?

What's included in my estimate or contract?

Our estimates are itemized by scope of work, so you can see exactly what's included before you commit to a project. Once you're ready to move forward, we put everything in a written contract so expectations are clear on both sides.

Do you offer financing?

Do you offer custom cabinetry services?

Yes. Custom cabinetry is one of our core services - all handcrafted from 3/4" maple construction and built specifically for your space, whether you're looking for a full custom kitchen, a cabinet refresh or refacing, or built-ins for another room in your home. We can also pair cabinetry work with countertops, backsplash, and lighting updates for a complete refresh.
