In any of the classes I teach your scholar will need the following:
USB thumb drive 16G or better. Microsoft requires users understand how to save work to File Explorer and to a USB thumb drive. Loss of work is not an excuse in a world of technology
Composition Notebook or a spiral notebook or binder with lined paper; one per semester
Hardware Requirements at School and at Home:
My courses must be taken on a PC using Microsoft Applications. The School uses Windows 10 or later. We will use Microsoft Office products since this will prepare scholars for real-world situations, and position them to be competitive in the job market. All scholars will have free access to Office365 Education and are shown how to log-on in the first two weeks of class; see my Resources Tab.
Macs and some Chromebooks are generally not compatible with what we do in the classroom. Homework assignments are difficult, if not impossible, to complete on these platforms. Testing is generally not compatible with some Macs and Chromebooks either.
