Caitlin Collins is a passionate dance and theater educator with over 20 years of experience. She has been the Theatre Director at Hampton High School since 2017, where she has significantly contributed to the school's award-winning arts program.
Caitlin is extensively trained in ballet, jazz, musical theatre, Meisner technique, and on-camera acting. She has had the privilege of learning from industry greats such as Lynn and Don Stallings, Michael Monroe, and Shontell Thrash. Her acting talents have been showcased in several commercials and the Amazon Prime movie The E-Listers.
Teaching is Caitlin’s true calling. She has inspired students at Clayton State University and currently teaches at the Giselle DiBlasi School of Dance. Her dedication to arts education has led to invitations to teach at the Georgia Thespian Conference and the Alabama Theatre Conference. Recently named the Theatre Lead for Henry County Schools, Caitlin continues to nurture creativity and excellence in all her students.

Every theatre journey begins with Theatre Fundamentals, where you’ll explore all aspects of theatre and build a strong foundation. From there, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to choose a specific pathway to deepen your drama experience. As you progress, each class will help you grow and refine your skills. By maintaining a 90 or above in all classes, you can earn the prestigious Fine Arts Honor Cord and Fine Arts Diploma Seal (FADS)—a testament to your dedication and excellence in the arts!
Advanced Drama – For those passionate about theatre beyond high school, this pathway explores theatre as a career, dramatic writing, and a deeper understanding of performance and production. It prepares students for professional or academic pursuits in the arts.
Acting – Focused on developing performance skills, this pathway hones techniques in character development, voice, movement, and emotional expression, helping students become versatile and compelling actors.
Technical Theatre – The behind-the-scenes magic of theatre, this pathway covers set design, lighting, sound, costumes, and stage management, providing essential skills for bringing productions to life.
Musical Theatre – A dynamic blend of acting, singing, and dancing, this pathway trains performers in storytelling through music and movement, preparing them for the unique demands of musical performance.
