Lunch With A Leader

The Stockbridge Middle School Counseling Team is excited to share a new college and career program entitled, "Lunch with a Leader". Each month during the grade level lunch periods, the LWL program will provide a small group of 6th - 8th grade students with an opportunity to meet and learn about the world outside of school from members of the community.   

Research has identified middle school as a time when students can benefit the most from career exploration, a process of building self-awareness, learning about potential careers, and developing a plan for reaching future goals. Students benefit from connecting with successful role models and have the opportunity to take part in activities such as LWL to help inspire them to succeed in college, career and beyond.
