Required:
- Chromebook (NO iPads or personal laptops)
- an organisational system for papers (binder, folder, etc.)
- pens, pencils, and highlighters
- USB-C headphones with a microphone that can plug into Chromebook

Recommended:
- 3 hole pocket portfolios/folders, or sheet protector pockets that your students can put in their binders to organize papers
- jacket/sweater 

Requested:
- Tissues and hand sanitizer! I have a generous donor who has stocked my room with many of the other things we might need, but these always run out :)

Reminders:
The use of any translation or AI generation programs/software in our course is strictly prohibited. As stated in the syllabus, graded assignments that reflect the use of these prohibited programs will result in a ZERO score for the assignment. This includes Gemini, Google's search engine AI assistant. Appropriate technology tools that are allowed will be addressed in class. Please do not encourage your students to "just Google Translate" their assignments. 

UGHS Policy is that students remain in class during class time except for those rare emergencies. No passes are given for the first and last 15 minutes of class. Plan restroom breaks ahead. Remember that only water is to be consumed outside the Commons!
