• Attendance will be taken each period on live instruction days.  All teachers must take attendance within the first 15 minutes of class. 

• If a student is more than 15 minutes late to class, but remains in class for the entire class period, the student will be marked tardy in IC. 

• If the student arrives to class on time, but leaves within the last 15 minutes of class, the student will be marked tardy in IC.

• If the student arrives on time or after the first 15 minutes of class and leaves anytime prior to the last 15 minutes of class, the student will be marked absent in IC. 

• Students who do not attend class at all will be marked absent in IC. 

• Students who are not actively participating and engaged in class may be removed from the virtual classroom and will be counted absent.  Active participation is defined as, but not limited to, asking and answering questions, commenting in the chat, having an active screen on Go Guardian, engaging in collaborative online documents. It is required that you use your Henry County Chromebook in order to be visible on Go Guardian during Live Meets.
