Jeffrey Gonda is entering his fifth year teaching at Hampton High School. Originally from the state of Wyoming, Dr. Gonda has had the opportunity to study and teach a variety of musical subjects over the course of his career, including chorus, piano, music theory, music appreciation, among others. He studied and taught music and in Wyoming, Arizona, and Oklahoma before coming to Hampton to build up our choral program at HHS.
Dr. Gonda is passionate about building music literacy and skill in the choral room, while also building a strong sense of community and belonging that allows all students to feel like they have a place where they fit in. In chorus, students should not only gain a strong musical ability, but also gain a strong sense of community involvement and ownership.Â
Dr. Gonda tries to stay in contact with students and parents as much as possible. If you ever have questions or concerns, Please reach out to jeffrey.gonda@henry.k12.ga.us
