"Beating The Odds" reports are individualized school comparisons based on components measured by the Georgia Department of Education, though Beating the Odds analysis is from The Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (link to GOSA explanation).
Schools are predicted to have certain state accountability College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) scores based on their composition of several student characteristics (e.g. students with disabilities, English language learners, economically disadvantaged, school size, student mobility, grade clusters, gender, and race/ethnicity). Schools that do better than those CCRPI predictions are said to have “beaten the odds” which means those schools’ actual performance results are higher than similar schools across the state. Schools used to compare to each Henry County elementary, middle, or high school also have similar enrollments.
*CCRPI data is not available for the 19-20 SY. Therefore, there is no updated Beating the Odds analysis available during the 20-21 SY*
