Meet the Teacher

Hello my name is Mrs. Fishback and I am excited to have your student in my class this year. I am happy to  be back home at Hickory Flat Elementary where I started my journey as a teacher. I am a dedicated wife, and mother of two sons. I have a senior at Woodland High School and a son in the Army. We also have a dog named Jack. I am a proud graduate of Hampton University! (Go Pirates) and currently working on my Masters Degree. I am a dedicated fan of all things Atlanta including the Falcons, Hawks and Braves.  

In my spare time, I love to travel to the beach, listen to music, watch movies, as well as spend time with family & friends. I live by the belief that "To whom much is given, much is expected." As a passionate advocate for children, I believe that all students have the ability to learn and grow when given the right support and opportunities. I look forward to partnering together to make this year, the best one yet! Go Wildcats!!!
