We will create opportunities and access for all scholars to be successful while maintaining positive relationships as a part of our comprehensive school counseling program.

Dutchtown Middle School's School Counseling Program envisions a future where all scholars are well prepared to meet the challenges and high expectations in becoming 21st century leaders.

• All scholars have the right to a safe and nurturing high-quality instructional environment.

• All scholars should have equitable access to a comprehensive school counseling program that serves a central role in meeting scholars' developmental needs through interventions that promote academic achievement, college and career readiness, and social/emotional development.

• School Counselors are leaders anmd agents of change in school culture and academic achievement.

• School Counselors are guided by the Ethical Standards of the American School Counseling Association (ASCA).
