About Me

Hello, I’m Blessy Ignatious, and I am thrilled to be your Algebra 2 teacher! My academic journey has been rooted in a passion for mathematics and education. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and English, a Bachelor of Computer Applications, and a Master’s in Computer Science, all from the prestigious Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, India.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in various international schools across India, where I gained invaluable experience working with diverse groups of students. In addition to my teaching career, I also served as the Women Protection Secretary in the government sector, which allowed me to contribute to my community through leadership and advocacy.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time on hobbies that bring me joy and creativity. I love baking, creating macrame art, being a plant mom, and doing crazy, fun activities with my daughter. These moments keep me inspired and bring balance to my life.

In my classroom, I strive to create an engaging and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I believe that with the right guidance and a growth mindset, every student can succeed in mathematics.
