Counselors will respond to emails Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Please note that School-Based Mental Health Teams are not available to provide guidance, resources, or intervention services for mental health emergencies outside of school hours.
AFTER SCHOOL HOURS:
For immediate assistance from the police, firefighters, or EMT workers, please call 911.
If your child is experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 988; the CReST mobile crisis & referral line @ 833-968-1800; or go to your nearest emergency room for immediate assistance.
For additional mental health services, Henrico Area Mental Health may be accessed at the following numbers: 804-727-8515 (same day access) or 804-727-8484 (emergency). Additionally, HCPS partners with Care Solace to navigate the mental health care system on behalf of our students, families, and staff to find community-based providers and secure appointments as quickly as possible with the best care possible by phone, text, video chat, or anonymous search @ Care Solace - Henrico County Public Schools.
To report suspected child abuse or neglect, please contact Child Protective Services at (804) 501-5437 (Mon.-Fri., 8-4 pm) or the VA Child Abuse & Neglect Hotline outside of business hours at 1-800-552-7096.
If you are experiencing or have experienced domestic/intimate partner violence and/or sexual violence, please contact Safe Harbor’s 24 hour helpline at (804) 500- 2755.
